As the manager of Market Intelligence, I research insurance trends and needs within the rural/ agriculture and small town marketplaces. Then I make informed recommendations on new insurance products to offer. I also keep our marketing, underwriting, and actuarial services management abreast of the pricing and products of other insurance companies.
I have a long history working in the insurance industry. I’ve held positions for two national insurance companies in information technology, training, and underwriting management. I’ve also co-owned an insurance agency in Illinois, before moving to Iowa and joining Grinnell Mutual. I’m an active, longtime member of NAIW-IAIP and the Insurance Association of Greater Des Moines.
When I’m not working, I like to attend theater productions and eat good food with my husband, Fritz. I try to get enough exercise to offset the abundance of good food. I love Zumba!
