Grinnell Mutual issues first Oklahoma auto policies
Officials from Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company are pleased to announce that the company has issued its first auto policies in the state of Oklahoma.
Through its longtime relationship with Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Company in Okarche, auto insurance, along with other personal lines products from Grinnell Mutual, is now available from a network of independent agents throughout the state. Besides auto insurance, Grinnell Mutual offers insurance coverage for recreational vehicles, personal excess (liability), and inland marine.
“We’re excited to be working with agents and policyholders in the state of Oklahoma,” said Grinnell Mutual President and CEO Steve Crawford. “We have a competitive auto insurance program that is well-positioned to serve Oklahoma policyholders, especially when offered in conjunction with the home and farm policies available from Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance.”
Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Company, established in 1899, offers home owners and farm owners insurance statewide through its network of 330 independent agents. It has received an ‘A-’rating from leading insurance industry rating firm A.M. Best for the past 16 years.

We’re excited not only about Grinnell Mutual’s competitive auto insurance but also about their personal excess and farm truck policies. Those are new products for our agents.”
