Hulsing awarded 2011 Dan F. Agnew scholarship
Grinnell Mutual has awarded Ashley Hulsing of Grinnell the Dan F. Agnew Scholarship. The $500 scholarship was based on Hulsing's academic record, participation in both school and community activities, and successful demonstration of good character and leadership. She is the daughter of Jerry and Jill Hulsing and plans to attend Central College in the fall.
The Dan F. Agnew scholarship was established by affiliated member mutuals, agencies, and the Grinnell Mutual Group Foundation in honor of Agnew and his 40-year career at Grinnell Mutual, including more than 18 years as president and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
