Wingert named Grinnell Mutual Chief Financial Officer
Dave Wingert has been named Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of the Finance Division, and Treasurer at Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company located in Grinnell, Iowa.
Wingert most recently served as the senior vice president and controller at Aviva USA (previously AmerUs Group) in Des Moines, a company he has worked for since 2001. He also served as senior manager at KPMG, where he gained significant experience working with property/casualty clients from 1985 to 2001. Wingert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Iowa State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation.
“Dave has strong credentials with a background in both public accounting and the insurance industry. His experience and values make him a great addition to our team,” said President and CEO Steve Crawford.
Wingert replaces Jerry Woods who retired after 18 years of service at Grinnell Mutual.
