What do I do if I have a loss?
Please be sure to:
- Prevent further damage. If the interior of your home has been exposed to the elements, please take action.
- Save receipts and documents related to emergency repairs.
- Contact law enforcement officials if a burglary or other crime has occurred.
What to expect
Reimbursement for repairs. You will normally receive payment for the cost of all necessary emergency repairs that prevent further damage.
Alternative living arrangements. If damage to your home makes it impossible to live there, we’ll help you locate temporary accommodations, based on available coverage options.
Loss documentation. If you’re the victim of theft, we’ll help you document your loss and issue payment according to the terms of your policy.
