Designations: Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS)
As a senior development specialist, my role is to help develop people at Grinnell Mutual through a variety of courses that I teach. In short, I’m a corporate trainer. I get to help our team cultivate strong working relationships with each other and with our business partners.
My path to Grinnell Mutual began with 21 years in public education. Later I served as the manager of team development for an Iowa manufacturer. My passion is to make a difference in people’s lives. I want to help people think differently about what they do and how they do it. That’s how they’ll grow and achieve great results — both as an individual and as a team.
Personally, I like to spend a portion of each day trying to stay fit by riding a bike and/or swimming. I also enjoy landscaping and working in the yard along with watching the Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks.
