Grinnell Mutual an Iowa Top Workplace 2026

Grinnell Mutual was named the third-best large Iowa employer in the 2026 Des Moines Register/Energage Top Workplaces survey. 
It’s the 16th straight year the company has earned a spot on the list and Grinnell Mutual is one of only two Iowa companies in the large employer category (500+) on the list every year since the honor’s creation. Grinnell Mutual also won the “Values” award this year, which recognizes companies that operate “by strong values.”   

In May, Grinnell Mutual was named a top workplace in Energage’s Top Workplaces USA, ranking 31st nationally.

The Register and Workplace Dynamics evaluated survey responses from more than 30,000 employees of participating employers. Top Workplaces are categorized by number of employees in Iowa and chosen based on employee feedback.
