Grinnell Mutual is pleased to announce the Road to Success Scholarship program for our high school senior auto policyholders. This is the 21st year of the scholarship program, which has awarded more than $1.6 million to student customers with good grades and clean driving records. Eighty $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. The Missouri Governor has signed executive order 26-06 which extends the moratoriums implemented by Bulletins 25-10 and 25-11. Protections are to stay in place until February 28, 2026, unless extended. Bulletin 25-11, an update to Bulletin 25-10, includes master policies for condominiums. Missouri insurers should not be cancelling or non-renewing Missouri homeowners or dwelling insurance policies covering residential properties damaged by a storm occurring after March 1, 2025.
On Oct. 16, 2025, the Illinois Department of Insurance issued Bulletin 2025-17 implementing a procedure change for those insureds who are federal employees. The procedure change is a moratorium requesting the postponement or withdrawal of any previous notice of cancellation or nonrenewal on or after Oct. 1, 2025, for non-payment of premium, where the policy has been issued to a federal worker.
