Grinnell Mutual exceeds United Way giving goal again

Grinnell Mutual employee donations and matching funds from the Grinnell Mutual Group Foundation raised more than $130,000 during the company’s 2026 United Way fundraising campaign. Employees pledged over $66,000, exceeding the company’s $58,000 goal, as they have for at least 11 consecutive years. The foundation contributed a 100 percent match to employee giving.

"I'm extremely proud of our team members and their continued commitment to caring for and supporting our local communities," said Grinnell Mutual President and CEO, Dave Wingert. "Our staff is always focused on helping others and this is just another example of how they show up to serve our customers, each other, and the communities we are part of."

Funds from the campaign will be distributed to several different communities’ United Way, United Funds, and Community Chest organizations where Grinnell Mutual employees live.
