Safety

  • Windshields are no longer just a piece of glass. They often contain sensors and other electronic safety features.
  • Trained customer service representatives alert the insured about windshield safety features requiring recalibration.
  • Most Safelite AutoGlass locations can perform necessary recalibrations to ensure the safety of the vehicle. If recalibration is not available at the repair location, the shop will notify the customer that recalibration is necessary and refer them to a qualified specialist.

 

LIFETIME WARRANTY

For work done at a Safelite AutoGlass and network shops*, the warranty:

  • Covers defects in the material and/or workmanship for as long as the insured owns or leases the vehicle.
  • Guarantees that the repaired damage will not spread and will pass any state vehicle inspection. If the damage spreads or doesn’t pass inspection, the cost of the repair will be applied to the cost of replacement.
