Road to Success Scholarship Program

Your senior year is finally here and you’ve worked hard to earn good grades. Grinnell Mutual wants to recognize those good grades and your safe driving record. The Road to Success Scholarship Program is designed to do just that, and we've awarded over $1.6 million to great customers like you.

Eighty $1,000 scholarships are awarded to high school seniors throughout our writing territory, and are randomly selected from qualified applicants. Applications must be submitted online to Grinnell Mutual and the selection decision will be final.

Recipients will be notified by either their agent or a representative from Grinnell Mutual.

Apply for a Road to Success Scholarship

Eligibility

High school seniors are eligible for the $1,000 Road to Success scholarship if they:

  • Are currently insured through a Personal Auto policy with Grinnell Mutual, Grinnell Select, or Grinnell Compass, or are a dependent driver listed on a parent's or guardian's Grinnell Mutual, Grinnell Select, or Grinnell Compass auto policy*
  • Maintain a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0
  • Have a clean driving record (no accidents or violations)
  • Plan to attend an accredited post-secondary educational institution in the fall of 2026 as a full-time student
  • Are not dependents of any Grinnell Mutual employee or company board member

*If the auto policy is canceled for any reason before the scholarship is awarded, the scholarship is void.

All applications must be submitted online to Grinnell Mutual by March 15, 2026.

Award presentation

All scholarship recipients are randomly selected from qualified applicants. The selection decision will be final. Recipients will be notified by either by their agent or a representative from Grinnell Mutual. A listing of all recipients will be available by May 15, 2026, at grinnellmutual.com.
